Short Information :
National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the notification for the CSIR UGC NET December 2025 Examination for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Lectureship / Assistant Professor. The online application window is open from 01 October 2025 to 31 October 2025.
Pay the fee through Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, or E Challan.
Eligibility & Age Limit
Educational Qualification: M.Sc / Equivalent Degree with 55% Marks for General / OBC candidates (50% for SC / ST / PH). Integrated Course and B.E / B.Tech / B.Pharma and MBBS candidates are also eligible.
Age Limit (as on 01/07/2025):
For JRF: Maximum 28 Years
For Lectureship / Assistant Professor: No Age Limit
Age relaxation as per NTA rules.

Exam Pattern & Syllabus Overview
The exam will be a Computer Based Test (CBT) with Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ).
There is no break between the papers.
Part-A (Common to all subjects): General Aptitude with emphasis on logical reasoning, graphical analysis, numerical ability, etc.
Part-B (Subject Specific): Conventional MCQs covering the topics in the syllabus of the chosen subject.
Part-C (Subject Specific): Higher-order questions testing the candidate’s knowledge of scientific concepts and their application.
Note: Negative marking is applicable as per the scheme mentioned in the official notification. Candidates should download the detailed syllabus for their specific subject.
