Selection Process & Exam Pattern

The selection process consists of the following stages:

  • Stage 1: Computer Based Test (CBT): 100 questions for 100 marks covering General Awareness, General Intelligence, Numerical Ability, and topics related to road sense, vehicle maintenance, and traffic rules.
  • Stage 2: Physical Endurance & Measurement Test (PE&MT): Qualifying in nature. Includes race, long jump, and high jump.
  • Stage 3: Trade Test (Driving Skill): 150 marks, qualifying in nature. Will test driving skills for light and heavy vehicles, parking, and knowledge of traffic signs.
  • Stage 4: Document Verification & Medical Examination.
