The Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSSB) has released a notification (Advt. No. 5/2025) for the recruitment of **84 Platoon Commander** posts. Online applications are open from **23 July to 21 August 2025**. Graduates with knowledge of written Hindi (Devanagari) and Rajasthan culture are eligible. Selection includes a **Written Exam, Physical Tests (PET/PST), Interview**, Document Verification, and Medical Examination.

Eligibility & Age Limit

  • Educational Qualification: Graduate in any discipline from a recognized university.
  • Language & Culture: Proficiency in Hindi (Devanagari script) and understanding of Rajasthan’s culture.
  • Age Limit (as of 01 Jan 2026): Minimum 20 years – Maximum 25 years. Age relaxation as per rules. 

Application Fee

  • General / EWS / OBC (Creamy Layer): ₹600
  • EWS / OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): ₹400
  • SC / ST / PH: ₹400
  • Correction Fee: ₹300.

Selection Process

  • Written Exam (400 marks)
  • Physical Efficiency & Standard Test (PET/PST) – 100 marks
  • Interview – 50 marks
  • Document Verification & Medical Exam
