Eligibility & Age Limit
- Educational Qualification: M.Sc / Equivalent Degree with 55% Marks for General / OBC candidates (50% for SC / ST / PH). Integrated Course and B.E / B.Tech / B.Pharma and MBBS candidates are also eligible.
- Age Limit (as on 01/07/2025):
- For JRF: Maximum 28 Years
- For Lectureship / Assistant Professor: No Age Limit
- Age relaxation as per NTA rules.

Exam Pattern & Syllabus Overview
- The exam will be a Computer Based Test (CBT) with Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ).
- There is no break between the papers.
- Part-A (Common to all subjects): General Aptitude with emphasis on logical reasoning, graphical analysis, numerical ability, etc.
- Part-B (Subject Specific): Conventional MCQs covering the topics in the syllabus of the chosen subject.
- Part-C (Subject Specific): Higher-order questions testing the candidate’s knowledge of scientific concepts and their application.
- Note: Negative marking is applicable as per the scheme mentioned in the official notification. Candidates should download the detailed syllabus for their specific subject.
