The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has released the result of the Preliminary Examination for Probationary Officers / Management Trainees (CRP-PO/MT-XV). IBPS PO Cutoff Trends

The cutoff marks vary every year depending on difficulty level and number of vacancies. In 2024, the general cutoff for prelims was around 47–50 marks, while for OBC it was 45 marks. This year, cutoff is expected to be slightly higher due to increased competition.

What’s Next After Prelims?

Candidates who qualify the prelims exam will appear for the Mains Examination scheduled on 12 October 2025. The mains will consist of objective + descriptive papers. Those who clear mains will be called for the Interview round. Final selection will be based on mains and interview combined scores.

Candidates must keep their admit card and photo ID ready for the upcoming mains exam.
