Short Information :	Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has invited online applications for the State Teacher Eligibility Test (STET) 2025 for Secondary (Paper I) and Senior Secondary (Paper II) teachers. The last date to apply has been extended. Interested candidates can now apply online until 05 October 2025.

Bihar STET 2025

Single Paper (I or II):
- Gen / BC / EWS: ₹ 960/-
- SC / ST / PH: ₹ 760/-
Both Papers (I & II):
- Gen / BC / EWS: ₹ 1440/-
- SC / ST / PH: ₹ 1140/-
Payment Mode: Online.

For Paper I (Secondary – Class 9-10): Bachelor’s Degree in a related subject with at least 50% marks and a B.Ed degree.
For Paper II (Senior Secondary – Class 11-12): Master’s Degree (Post Graduate) in a related subject with at least 50% marks and a B.Ed degree.
Age Limit:
- Minimum Age: 21 Years
- Maximum Age: 37 Years (UR Male), 40 Years (UR Female/BC/EBC), 42 Years (SC/ST)
Age relaxation as per BSEB rules.

Exam Name	Eligibility Details
STET Paper I (Secondary)	Bachelor’s Degree in Related Subject with 50% Marks & B.Ed.
STET Paper II (Sr. Secondary)	Master’s Degree in Related Subject with 50% Marks & B.Ed.

The selection process will be based on a Computer Based Test (CBT).

The exam will consist of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
There will be no negative marking.
Paper I and Paper II will be conducted for Secondary and Senior Secondary levels respectively.

✔️ The last date for online application has been extended to 05 October 2025.

✔️ The fee for a single paper (I or II) for the General/BC/EWS category is ₹ 960/-.

✔️ Candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree with 50% marks in the relevant subject and a B.Ed degree.

✔️ The minimum age to apply is 21 years as of 01 August 2025.
